Observation and Questions
Make careful and detailed observations.
Write experiment questions that are based on observations
Hypothesis
Write a hypothesis based on the experiment question.
Set-Up Experiment
Describe the variables that will be changed, controlled, and measured in an experiment.
Create a set of directions that covers enough steps that someone else could repeat it, have 8-10 steps.
Data Collection and Analysis
Do the experiment at least 5 times and use more then one sample
Organize the collected data into a table and graph.
Read your results from a table or graph.
Conclusion
Explain how classroom experiments and activities relate to science knowledge.
Explain the relationship between simple experiments and complex systems. |
